Anxiety is the cause as well as the consequence of an unsatisfied life. It is your duty towards your own self to relieve anxiety if it starts going out of hand. If left uncontrolled it can develop into a full blown anxiety disorder, and may even lead to anxiety and panic attacks.

However, there are certain things you can do on your own that will relieve anxiety to a large extent; the only thing is to be sincere in your efforts.   3. Time Management: A hectic schedule can cause anxiety. Perhaps it's time to drop some activities or manage your time in a more efficient fashion. Remember to schedule time for yourself to focus on activities that relax you.

  4. Worry Time: Anxiety is often the result of excessive worrying. Are you also a victim of this habit? You can relieve anxiety if somehow you can stop worry from destroying your peace of mind. There is one technique that works fine with me, if I find myself obsessively worrying about some matter. What you do is pick up a worry time – say 7 PM to 8 PM. During this time allow yourself to worry about the matter as much as possible. But don't allow yourself to think about the matter at any other time. Devote an exclusive time for worrying, think as much as possible. Then put a stop to that.

  5. Exercise: Make exercise a part of your routine. A workout of about 30 minutes is good for mental as well as physical health. Exercise helps relax your muscles, causes more oxygen to flow in your blood stream, and releases endorphins that give you a feeling of well being.

  6. Meditation: Relieve anxiety with regular meditation. The role of meditation in maintaining a poised and balanced mind is well known. The effects of meditation are deep and far reaching. Meditation changes people in far reaching but positive ways. Meditation is great for reducing stress and anxiety, for getting proper sleep, and so many other countless ways. What ever the technique that suits you, you must take immediate steps to relieve anxiety. Increased anxiety is not good for your body as well as your spirit. It will spoil your present as well as your future.
